PuttMotion is in development for iPhone. The Pro and Pro Max models listed on the website are development references; they are not a confirmed support list. The final supported models, minimum iOS version and availability of each feature will be announced before launch.
Reference models and confirmed compatibility
The website lists iPhone 12 through iPhone 18 in their Pro and Pro Max variants as reference models during development. This list describes the current product direction, rather than a promise that every listed phone is supported.
Check the full model name, including Pro or Pro Max. Wait for the final supported-device list before deciding whether the app is suitable for your phone.
How to check your iPhone model
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Choose General, then About.
- Read the Model Name field.
- Keep the full name for comparison with the launch requirements.
The Model Name field differs from the custom name you can give your phone. Apple provides an identification guide in the sources below.
Preparing for camera practice
The camera-practice pilot is being developed for a white ball on an approximately flat, dark or green mat with adequate lighting. The phone should stay on a stable support, and the ball should remain visible when it stops.
The intended practice focuses on the observed start line and stopping position. Camera practice remains experimental, and its final requirements may change.
What remains to be announced
Supported models, the minimum iOS version, feature availability and the official download link will be published when confirmed. Support for Samsung and other Android phones has not been announced.
For now, the website presents the product concept and practice illustrations. These illustrations are not measurements of your own green or a confirmation that the app is available to download.
